My husband and I are traveling to the El Dorado Royale on Dec 6, 2003. Does any one know anything about upgrading to a Casita? Is it worth it and how much do you have to pay?

any other suggestions about what we whould bring with us?

Hi Tina. There didn't happen to be any Casita's available to upgrade to when I was there. We had booked a garden view room and were thinking of upgrading to an oceanfront. We decided not to because we loved our room and decided that it would be better to spend our money elsewhere. We did tour a Casita and they were nice but I don't think that they are worth the upgrade. The hotel is wonderful though! Have a great time!

tina,, went to greece this year, and talking to a woman who was staying at our hotel, who had stayed at edr, and had a casita suite,,,, she advised the best thing ever,,,, but trying to up grade when your there ,, you would be lucky to get one, but a lot cheaper, we are going in august on our honeymoon, adn its cost us £550.00 to up grade,, think you can e mail them now to get up grade, let me know it you want there e mail,,, would love to hear from you when you have been to see what you think, as so much on mess board on how good it is and bad things, learnt you cannot check in until 3pm and dodgy putting things in room safe, e mail me back,,,, dawnieodell@aol.com,,,kind regards DAWN
