just came back yesterday from this hotel . it was the worst place i have ever stayed in . rooms are deplorable
not even any drawers to put clothes in
same food for lunch and dinner . no variety . you could drink the drinks all day and never feel anything . entertainment sucked . staff are very rude , front desk is so unorganized.
you cant even get bottled water .this place is a joke. beach was nice after 8 minutes on shuttle to get there. ants in room. i would give this hotel a 1 star. dont waste your money staying here.

Came back this morning 2003-09-20. Too far from the sea. Rooms have no drawers and any problems with room is not attended to. Lady at helpdesk lets you go to sales for their holiday club when you want to visit another resort, even though this is supposed to be free. Not allowed to walk on golfcourse even if the resort is situated on it. Food is bland and repeated to death. Entertainment sucked. Will NOT go back. Apparently Mexican Village in Cancun is great and of a much better standard. Also on the beach.

i enjoied the stay, the hotel was not that bad.

the food repeated, that's true, but it had lots of different things there every day.
if you go there you better like potatoes and simple meals. many things they cook is smelling good and it definitely fills up your stomach.

rooms were simple but clean. yes, some ants, not too many.
at the front desk they offered me to change the room as i complained with some problems. i didn't change so i had to wait for warm water 5 min. every day... but there WAS warm water.

don't change money in hotel! poor rates!

beach is nice, staff at hotel and beach is nice and friendly.

don't use barracuda divers, they aren't organised at all and hardly refund money ever payd if you can't go diving out of personal reason. i had a 125$ refound out of paid 270$ (US$) and didn't enter the water once. the 125$ were a voucher in their own shop (very poor).
