Carribean

I am planning to visit the Carribean next month at the end of May. I am so overwhelmed by all the islands and don't know which one to pick. Can anyone that has been to the Carribean recommend an island? I am a person who enjoys the nightlife.

Tiger14,

For nightlife alone you might want to check out:

Cancun - bars and lots of people
Aruba - casinos and clubs
Bahamas - general nightlife

and other more developed/traveled to islands that cater to a nightlife scene.

If you have other interests you may want to list them and other users may be able to help point you to an island that fits your interests.

I was quite impressed with San Juan Puerto Rico it was really upscale. We went to Senjor Frogs which has a wild Spring Break feel and a great live band plus contests like the booty shake etc... There are also lovely street cafes to eat and enjoy a quiet drink open air while people watching. More nightclubs and casinos in other areas like the hotel area. I was close to the cruise ships near the Old San Juan. Felt safe wandering the streets here many people out walking about. :)

Enjoy a unique combination of primitive beauty and tropical pleasures
at Club Land'or "A Land'or International Resort" on Paradise Island,
which lies parallel to Nassau. Soak in the Caribbean sun or dive in the
clear ocean waters. Play golf or tennis nearby. Take a day to explore
the island by motor-scooter or a resort bicycle. Don't forget Bay Street,
site of the largest market in the world for straw items. The resort's
Blue Lagoon Restaurant has been recommended by the Minister of Tourism as "not to be missed."
Rental Price: $1,200.00 Negotiable
Asking Price: $7,000.00 Negotiable
