Hello ,
I was asked to make caribbean yellow bird for a theatre producton and can't find any pictures to base the bird on.There is that famous song about yellow bird and it describes the bird as yellow with litlle bit of black in it,just like a banana.I've been surfing the net unsuccessfuly for hours.
I know that there are hotels named after that bird - Yellow Bird.

I would appreciate any kind help finding some pictutes.

looks like my problems are over and I can start working now!

I think what you are looking for is the bananaquit. About 20 of these little birds right now are clustered around their breakfast I gave them, sugar water in a tray. Google Bananaquit, and I think you'll find it!
