I'm planning on a Trip to Trini and Tobago from December 28th until the 6th of January 2007. I would like to think that i've done a fair bit of research into it (including buying a few guides, sending e-mails, reading different forms etc.) but for some reason i can't find rates for campgrounds in T & T, Preferably on Tobago and not Trini.
I was thinking of camping on the beach "Canoe Bay". I am aware of the number that to call for more information about camping on T&T (the forestry divison of agriculture or some jazz like that), but if i can get around calling them that would be great.
I would really love to hear from people who actually have done it, or have experinced it.
Also, i know that this next question is totally random but does anyone know if those old VW vans are avaiable for rent on Tobago. I've contacted 2 different people VIA e-mail and both responded with a big fat "no."
as you can tell i am not so inclined to want to stay in a resort of any type, but would rather experince the cultural side of things (aka ruffing it)
