Katrinia, What a terrible experience on North Caicos. I would of left at the first sign of the knife. We're so sorry about your ruined trip. We had such a wonderfull time at Datai on Whitby Beach. The husband and wife we rented from were two of the nicest people one could ever hope to meet. We had two very nice meals at two different places, and rented a car for just about what you paid for a couple of rides. Where did you snorkle? At Whitby the water was 100% clear and snorkling was a dream. Please don't let Bottle Creek sour you on North Caicos. We can hardly wait to go back and if and when God's willing buy property there. Again, so sorry and if we can help in any way please let us know. Again I know I repeating, but the water, sand, beaches, shelling etc. were so spectular. D & J

Yes, probably should have left sooner...we were so tired from the trip down which had entailed waking at 3am in DC. We loved Whitby beach and wished we could have stayed longer. We snorkled a bit at Whitby but I think the water was a bit churny where we decided to go. I'd recommend North to others but tell them to stay at Whitby. kk

Bottle Creek Lodge is under new ownership and management as of April, 2005. Myself, my husband Jay and our children are moving down to North Caicos to make Bottle Creek Lodge a fishing destination and a place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful nature of North Caicos .
