Beaches/Turks

Had a good flight. The hotel, Beaches was another story......The food and entertainment need a lot to be desired. Water is at a premium here, you pay for bottled water, but cans of beer are included.....The beach was very nice, and the rooms were nice also. Too many little screaming kids....

Janet,
My 11-year-old daughter and I leave tomorrow, May 26, for Beaches/Turks. Any other tips you can give us? I can live with mediocre food as long as the beach is wonderful and the rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. Did you visit any restaurants? Were you met at the airport upon your arrival? Are there irons in the room?
Thanks, Susan

Am getting ready to celebrate our 20 yr anniversay April 28-May5, 04... Debating between going on Tahitian 10 day cruise or 7 night stay at Beaches all inclusive. The brochures for Beaches, of course, looks great. But the truth is really told by word of mouth thru those that have stayed there. So anyone having anything good or bad to say, please tell me. This is too important of a date to mess up on. We don't just want to stay on the property, but want to rent a car? and drive around and see whatever there is to see and do? Is Beaches gonna be full of kids at this time.
Please help!!

My husband and I went to Beaches April 03 with our children ages 2 & 4. We loved it, the kids loved it. I would not reccomend going to this resort for a romantic getaway. It is perfect if you have little ones-lots to do for them, food was good, resort was beautiful. I would only reccomend going with children as there are lots of them everywhere!

Beaches Questions

My family and I are planning a trip to Beaches at Turks and Caicos. We are planning on staying in one of the lower priced rooms. I have tried to locate a good map online of the resort, but have not been able to find one. Does anyone know which building I should request? I want to make sure that we do not get a view of a trash dumpster or are too close to the loud music.
