I would like to know if this hotel has a beach, i have heard that it washed away in a storm,has it been replaced?

The Occidental Grand does have a beach. I was there in May. It is a very nice place - the beach isn't huge but is great in my opinion. The rooms are awesome - if you go make sure to eat at the pizzaria.

Yes, they have a beach. However, they have no dock and dive boats come right up to the water wherever they please. Watch out if you plan to snorkel, play, swim, etc. in the water. My family and I just returned from there. The lack of beach is the very least of the problems at that resort. I will NEVER go back to anything that has the name Occidental in it. It is too much to explain but, in short my husband said the bathrooms are cleaner at the old Texaco. We spent 4 days trying to get the one in our room fixed before we got moved to another room. They said the hotel was full.
