I would like to go to Playa in Oct. and the Barcelo was recommended to me. I'd love to hear any opinions on this resort. Is there nightly entertainment? How are the beds? If anyone has info, please E-Mail me. thanks.

Barcelo Riveria Maya is one of the best hotels I have stayed at - it even surpassed Sandals Montego Bay which is considerably more expensive.

Excellent food and wide choice. Rooms good and comfy beds.

The swimming pools are huge with swim-up bars.

I would definitely recommend staying here.
