I am staying at the Hilton in Barbados in Aug 2005...With my family...What is the best currency to take US$ or local currency?

If it is US$ what exchange rate do they give you.

If you have US currency, You need not trouble yourself too much about exchanging it. Most business places , taxi drivers hotels etc will gladly accept your US dollars. The common rate of exchange would be US$1 =BDS $2. The bank rate will typically fluctuate between $1.96-1.99.

carrying a us dollars are best , but if you have bank account or have some master card then it will be best to have all money online ,according to my point of view that will be more secure .
