BAHIA PRINCIPE TULUM

Postby alan on Sun Dec 07, 2003 9:00 pm

we will be going to the tulum side on jan 25/04 and we were wondering if for the dress code for the alacarte wether the men can wear pants and shirt and running shoes or do you have to wear dress shoes? Also we read on one of the reviews that they serve prawns etc. in the buffet, is this correct?
It would be great if someone that has been there could give us a little information what building to stay in.We would like something sort of central and fairly close to the beach. We have purchased the package with the ocean view if that helps. Not ocean front. Apparently there is a difference. This is the first time to the Mayan Riviera for us so we are trying to get all the help we can.We were going to book the akumal side but Air Transat didn't have the club seats available so we had to book with Air Canada and stay on the Tulum side. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Send me an email and I will see what I can find out from 'Eric'. He and wife have just returned, we're going in Jan as well. I was there last Feb.

We were at this resort last year, and I dove with their scuba shop for six days and two nights. They were very professional, and very accomodating. The dive masters run the globe as far as where they're from and the languages they speak. I wound up diving with two Italians and a ladie from Brazil. The night dives were ok, but the cenotes were great cavern dives. Open water dives are not as good as cozumel, but still fun. I would recommend this shop to any diver.
