aventura spa palace

What are the rooms like? Is the hotel nice inside? Is it a long walk from the hotel to get to the beach? And any other good or bad comments about the resort that you have.

We have traveled alot and we did not care for this property. The beach is awful. They built a reef and brought in some sand and that is it. We like to walk on a long beach and there is none there. The food was great. Room OK. Service OK. My suggestion pick somewhere else.

My wife and I spent 8 days at the Aventura Spa Resort. And, we loved it. But, then again, we were more interested in the pools and the hotel. The previous post about them hauling in sand is correct. Basically, they just built the beach and covered up the rock on the shore with sand. But, they did make a nice lagoon for
swimming. And, we didn't like these salespeople that were trying to hawk the time-sharing bit for the resort - They reminded me of used car salesmen. But, as for the hotel itself, we found it to be great. If you want to walk a long beach like Joyce (the previous post) said, then you might want to try somewhere else. But, if you like the couples only type of environment and friendly staff with great food, then this is definitely the place. And, don't let me forget the pools - they are super big and well maintained. The landscaping is also very meticulously kept. Overall, we found it to be an awesome place.

My husband and I just returned from Aventura Spa Palace on June 15th 2003 and loved it. This is our second all-inclusive vacation and it was great to say the very least, I don't know where these people stayed but our room was very nice, the food was very good, and the staff could not do enough to make us happy. The spa is Awesome and worth the extra money!! I was aware the beach was man made, but we are pool people and the pools were very large and never too packed. We took two day trips while we were there and loved both. I could not recommend a more beautiful friendly resort. I also think we enjoyed ourselves more due to the fact we made friends with another couple and hung out with them for dinner and activities. Over all we plan to make a repeat visit.
