Has any been to this resort? Any comments would be appreciated.

Also, what is the safest, least expensive way to travel to Tulum from Cancun? Has anyone had experience with DreamDays? Thanks for your advise.

Have never been there but have had reservations for the last part of Sept. Got a call from our travel agent yesterday and said that Allure management has changed and is encouraging us to change our plans to another resort. Bummer because we really liked the remoteness of this resort - just want to kick back & relax for a week - not into late night partying.

Been there 3x in janury...2001, 2002, 2003...loved it...best/least expensive way to get there from Cancun...Allure can arrange to pick you up at the airport and they did it free for the 2 of us...have fun as it is a place to just kick back & relax for a week -esp if you're not into late night partying.

I just visited this resort 9/13/03, one of six we previewed for our wedding in 5/04. I thought it was beautiful!!! Not the party place some people headiing down to Mexico might want, but very nice. The pool area was classy, the beach was beautiful and it was in my top two choices. The cenote seemed really interesting as well. If you have questons please feel free to email. The staff has not changed since the new ownership took over 9/1/03, and it seemed consistant.
