My wife and I are going to 7 mile beach for the first time in July and have heard that the beach has been washed out. Can anyone tell me any info about the beach?

I also was interested in the beach conditons. I had heard that the beach had washed away from the Marriott. We will be going in a few weeks. It won't stop us from having fun, but we just wanted to know.

I just returned from Grand Cayman. Stayed at 7 Mile Beach Resort, between Marriott and Treasure Island. Yes, the beach is gone! The water is washing up on the seawall at Marriott. About a quarter-mile further north, the beach is not so bad.

Had a great time, despite the missing beach! The weather was great, and so was the diving and snorkelling.

i'm dissapointed to hear about the beach conditions, Iwas in the Cayman 10 years ago and told my husband it was the most beatiful place in the world.We plan on going in July for the Taste of Cayman and had planned to try to stay at Treasure Island and spend my money on other things but Idon't want him to be dissapointed. Can you tell me the best place with a great beach thats still close to things?Marcia
