Located at beautiful Coconut beach on the west coast of Curaçao, the Holiday Beach Hotel & Casino is the only beachfront hotel on the island within walking distance of the world famous shops of historic Willemstad. Featuring 200 rooms, we boast one of the Caribbean's largest casinos and an on-site 24 hour Denny's restaurant.
The hotel property consists of two 4-story wings. A large
freshwater pool is located in the center surrounded by a large pool deck...perfect for hosting outdoor events. Our private beach and dive center are steps away from the pool!
A total of 200 comfortable rooms decorated in contemporary tropical motifs and colors. All come equipped with tile floors, Ving electronic keys, private bathrooms, private balcony/terrace, central air-conditioning, direct-dial telephone, color cable TV, fridge, safe and hairdryer. We also offer two (2) rooms that have specially equipped bathrooms for our handicapped guest. There are two (2) categories wih three (3) types of accommodations:
Superior - Ocean-view with 1 King-size bed.
Superior - Pool-view with 2 Queen-size beds.
Standard - Garden or Lagoon-view (all with 2 Queen-size beds)

We feature a diveshop (The Holiday Beach Dive Center) located on the hotel premises that offers a wide variety of courses, expeditions and dive equipment sales and rentals with emphasis on personal attention. Thriving reefs surround Curaçao, attaching to the shore like
a narrow fringe. With 57 coral species and plentiful hard corals (40 percent in some places), Curaçao's reef is one of the best on earth. Massive coral formations plunge the depths of great vertical walls. Visibility on most days averages approximately 100 feet!

Driving in the Caribbean
If you plan to rent a car, be aware that most jurisdictions of the Caribbean drive on the left. The only places where you drive on the right are Aruba, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Martinique, and the Netherlands Antilles. In other places, if you are not used to driving on the left, proceed slowly and with utmost caution. You may wish to ride as a passenger for a while before trying to drive yourself.
Driving conditions and local driving patterns are different from the U.S. Many roads are narrow or winding, signs may not be in English, and in some places, domestic animals roam freely. Defensive driving is a must.
