Lesville Bed and Breakfast
Six newly built comfortably furnished apartments also with bed and breakfast in the quiet rural neighbourhood of Canaan Tobago. Within easy reach of main tourist activities, Pigeon Point and Buccoo Reef
|
More Info: Canaan is a quiet rural neighbourhood in the south western lowlands of Tobago. We offer our visitors a special opportunity to live among the hospitable people of Tobago and truly experience the appeal of West Indian living. Here in the garden at LesVille Apartments there are exotic species of fruit and flowers, coconut palms, mango trees and more, allowing for shady enjoyment of mother nature. There are quiet tropical country lanes, green all year round, where you can stroll unhindered amidst the call of birdsong or be followed by sheep and goats. Life here is simple and very easy paced.
Yet it is near enough to the Crown Point peninsular that our visitors can also easily enjoy Caribbean beaches at their very best. Within 7 minutes you will arrive at two of the finest beaches in the Caribbean, Store Bay and Pigeon Point, a hub of tourist activity with local restaurants and bars, night time entertainment, shopping and more. Nearer to our location are a small grocery store, a bakery where fresh bread and cakes are baked daily, two small local pubs, and a green grocer selling fresh tropical fruit and vegetables.
Crown Point is also the location of Tobago's airport - Crown Point International. We provide airport transfers for our guests. ( See below for more information on flights and bookings.) Scarborough, the chief town on the island is a 10 minute drive away. Points of interest there include a well preserved Fort at Ft. King George, with a very interesting Museum of Tobago's history and pre-history.
Two 2 Bedroom; Three 1 Bedroom Studios and One 1 Bedroom apartment well furnished including all linens and breakfast. Airport transfers provided. Nice tropical garden and quiet country lanes provide a different focus on this Caribbean island.
Nearby Attractions: At LesVille bed and breakfast apartments, we offer car and bicycle rental, trip around the island, and are always happy to assist you with making arrangements for your visit, including tours to the coral reefs for snorkeling at Buccoo, scuba diving and other watersports, and to the tropical rainforest at Main Ridge.

Caribbean Travel Tip Ocean Undercurrents If you get sucked out into the ocean by an undercurrent follow these instructions:
Do not panic, save all your strength.
Act immediately. Swim parallel to the shoreline. Even if you cannot, keep trying until you can.
What you are doing is swimming out of the undertow and into the current that will more than likely push you back to shore. Remember, in saltwater you float so you can stay alive for any number of days. Unless you are on a secluded beach a boat will reach you in time to rescue you should you fail to not be able to swim out of the undertow.
