The Plaza Hotel Curacao is a perfect base camp for exploring the island. This cozy Van der Valk hotel is situated at the mouth of the harbor in the heart of colorful Willemstad. Having enjoyed one of our delicious buffets accompanied by live-music, an after-dinner drink in our Toucan's Nest Bar, you will be overwhelmed by the sight of passing cruise ships as they sail by the hotel through the harbor on their way to new tropical destinations. Most of our rooms offer a fantastic view over the sea or downtown Willemstad. The most spectacular view is of course from our Penthouse situated on the 14th floor.
Summer is endless on friendly, hospitable Curacao. The combination of azure blue sea, white beaches with their waving palms, color full flora and fauna ensure your holiday in Curacao will be unforgettable. There's something for everybody: sun-seekers, history lovers, scuba-divers and other sport-lovers will all have the time of their lives. Either enjoy the sun whilst sipping a delicious fruit punch, be fascinated by our under-water world during one of our many dive or snorkel excursions, or soak up some culture on an island walking tour.
In short, you won't be bored for a single minute during your stay on our little piece of Holland in the Tropics. And certainly not in the evenings when a large variety of restaurants and terraces will entice you in for a bite to eat or a refreshing tropical cocktail while you enjoy one of our beautiful sunsets.

Downtown stores are within a stone's-throw of the hotel and places of interest, such as the pontoon bridge, the floating market and Fort Amsterdam are all within walking distance.
