This vacation home is on the third street inland from the Mexican Caribbean, only a couple of blocks from a major grocery store (complete with deli, bakery and liquor) near several good restaurants, and about nine blocks from the main square downtown.
There’s a lovely stone patio area with tropical plants, a 10 foot by 20 foot ceramic tiled swimming pool, and a privacy fence surrounds it all. Just inside the gate is a curved wrought iron trellis with lush bougainvilleas that add a bit of privacy to the pool area. There are reclining lounge chairs around the pool and a covered patio with a ceiling fan, table, and chairs.
Since Villas Topaz actually consists of two totally separate and private two bedroom/two bath vacation homes, and it can be rented as either a two bedroom or a four bedroom. Each unit has a living area, fully-equipped kitchen, color TV with cable, VCR, CD player, and a telephone for local calls. For your enjoyment there’s a selection of tapes, CDs, and books. And for convenience, both kitchens are fully-equipped, each with a stove, refrigerator, blender, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric juicer, dishes, glasses, cookware, and plenty of purified water. Each unit also has a small safe with a programmable digital lock.
Downstairs in the two bedroom unit we call Casa Topaz, you're only steps away from the pool through sliding glass doors from the living area and both bedrooms. We call the two bedroom unit upstairs Casa Tomás, and you may be a few more steps away from your dip in the pool, but you'll enjoy a small front terrace and a private screened porch.
The air conditioning throughout is remote controlled, there are ceiling fans, special cushioning on all four king-size beds for extra comfort, a pressurized water system, and imported Price Pfister faucets for the bath and kitchen. The solid wood Mexican rustic furniture is upholstered in imported fabrics, the custom made curtains are fully lined and there’s an assortment of local decorations, original paintings, art and traditional talavera pottery.
Daily maid service is included on weekly stays (except for Sundays and major holidays). All bed linens, bath, and beach towels are provided and your sheets and bath towels are changed twice during a weeks stay. As a four bedroom, Villas Topaz comfortably sleeps eight guests, and if you prefer we can change one of the king-size beds into two twins. If there are fewer in your group, you may wish to rent just one of the two bedrooms to sleep up to four guests.
