Site Information:
Tulum/Tankah, Yucatan--Casa Tropical--Romantic Beachfront Villa
Casa Tropical is located on 1/2 acre in Tankah, Mexico, 3 miles north of the magnificent Tulum ruins. It is a 1 hour drive south of the Cancun airport. Reserving a car from the states for pick-up from the airport is recommended.
|
More Info: Tankah is a secluded, mostly residential location with the world's second longest reef just offshore. It is within driving distance to 3 major archaeological sites, Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, Xel-Ha, Playa del Carmen, great restaurants, beautiful beaches and other points of interest.
Casa Tropical features 2 rental units, one on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd, designed with privacy in mind. Both are tiled throughout with fully equipped kitchenettes, bottled water (supplied), gas stove with oven, refrigerator, gas hot water, ceiling fan, and Haitian artwork throughout. Hammocks, lounge chairs, bed and bath linens are provided.
Our 1st floor unit is tiled throughout with a large bedroom/living area with double bed, fouton, chair & foot stool and coffee table and stained glass window. We have a fully equipped kitchenette, tiled bathroom, ceiling fans and Haitian artwork throughout. Plenty of books, radio/CD/cassette player provided. Outside, our 1st floor offers a palapa-roofed tiled porch furnished with plants, table and chairs for dining alfresco, and also a private hammock palapa with 2 hammocks. Great views of ocean and gardens
The 2nd floor unit also has a bedroom with queen bed and a small balcony with a great view, fully equipped kitchenette, tiled bath, ceiling fans, plus and a 14' x 29' palapa covered rooftop patio with built-in seating, 2 hammocks, and bar with sink. Plenty of books, radio/CD/cassette player provided, Haitian artwork throughout. Wonderful views and ocean breeze.
We have solar powered electricity that is more than adequate, but we do conserve, and turn fan or lights off when not in use. Our English speaking, property manager lives nearby, and we provide twice weekly maid service, trash removal and have the grounds and beach maintained by a gardener.
At Casa Tropical you can swim in the moonlight, snorkel from our beach or in the nearby cenote, or just stroll the beach for miles. Watch the sea birds dive for dinner or simply take a siesta in our hammocks or lounge chairs, totally relaxed, caressed by the tropical tradewinds.
Reservations are confirmed in writing after receipt of payment along with directions and travel tips. Please mention your address and phone number plus dates wanted in your inquiry.
