Let your stress melt away in the warm Caribbean sun while you lounge in the hammock on the spacious deck of our villa, or perhaps you would prefer sipping rum punch at the cool in-pool bar while watching the array of ocean activity below while the sunset turns your day into rainbow colors. Villa Soleil's central island location in the exclusive North Shore community of Judith's Fancy also puts you close to all vacation activities on the island and only 15 minutes from the restaurants, shopping and nightlife of Christiansted. However, all the amenities of our rental villa may lead you to agree with many of our guests who tell us - We liked being at the house so much that no one was anxious to do anything but stay there.
Besides being in a beautiful, tranquil setting, Villa Soleil is also convenient to all the various St. Croix vacation diversions. It is situated in the exclusive, gated community of Judith's Fancy, locally known as the "Beverly Hills of St. Croix", on the picturesque north shore, about mid-way from either end of the island. As it takes about 2 hours to drive from one end of St. Croix to the other, this can be a tremendous advantage.
Alternatively, you could spend an entire day sipping a refreshing beverage on the oversized open deck of the villa watching the array of activity below - sailboats, kayaks, scuba divers, and, after a colorful island sunset, the lights of passing cruise ships far out in the Caribbean sea. Or.... perhaps you'd rather just lounge by the pool in complete seclusion and let the sound of the surf lull you to sleep?
Not only does the house have an unbeatable location, it is also spacious, newly redecorated, and has lots of little extra amenities to make your Caribbean vacation easier. With ten large rooms in the house and the 2200 square foot deck and pool area, there is always a quiet spot available, even when the house is accommodating it's maximum of fourteen people. Couples appreciate the solitude and romantic atmosphere.
Whatever your activities, Villa Soleil is a rental villa equipped to be a complete home away from home. It's open floor plan, ocean views from every room and huge deck gives you room to spread out and relax if you're traveling with a large group, yet the atmosphere is incredibly romantic and luxurious if you're searching for a hideaway for two. Villa Soleil's main living space - comprised of a kitchen, family room, dining room and sitting room, is open, airy and bounded on the ocean side by a wall of windows overlooking the bay. Sliding glass doors from the sitting room and a back door access the pool and oversized deck where an in-pool bar with refrigerator, gas grill and an outdoor table and chairs makes "dining in" a comfortable, easy choice. A private master suite with full bath, two additional bedrooms and one more full bath complete the upstairs level. Another family room and fully-equipped kitchen, two more bedrooms, and one more full bath, all with the same great views, are found downstairs, accessed by its own separate entrance. Laundry facilities, cable television and air conditioning throughout are just some of the added amenities.
While some villa owners only rent their houses for the few months they are not living there themselves, renting Villa Soleil is our business. Therefore, your satisfaction is very important to us. Nearby Attractions:
A vacation day may include a trip to Buck Island (a MUST), scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, shopping, dining, golf, beachcombing, gambling, horse-back riding, or other interesting daytrips. Although a quieter and more laid back atmosphere prevails on St. Croix, hot spots for evening entertainment can be found in the towns of Christiansted and Frederiksted. These include reggae bands, jazz groups, and popular folk singers. Depending on your time of arrival you might find full moon parties at various clubs. Or you could always go for the night dives hosted by the local scuba centers or, during nesting and hatching seasons, turtle watches sponsored by the St. Croix Environmental Association!
It's an easy walk to either white, sandy Judith's Fancy beach (above left) or the coral filled inlets around White Horse Reef, and a quick 10 minute drive to historic Columbus beach. Both spectacular Turtle Beach at Buck Island, voted one of the ten best Caribbean beaches and private Jack's Bay Beach (above right) are easily accessible from Villa Soleil's central St. Croix location. The famous scuba diving of Salt River Canyon is a mere 15 minute drive. Want to "dive the wall" at beautiful Cane Bay Beach or play the golf course at the Carambola, designed by Robert Trent Jones and on the LPGA tour? You are only a 20 minute drive from either. Going out for dinner? It's a 10 minute drive into Christiansted with its many restaurants, shops and evening entertainment. Perhaps you want to explore the rainforest, one of St. Croix's twenty beaches or need to pick up a friend from the airport. No problem! Villa Soleil is no more than a 45 minute drive from most points on the island. Wouldn't you rather spend your vacation "doing" instead of "driving"?
Amenities:
Villa Soleil has new paint, bed linens, towels, electronics, and furniture. The kitchen is so well stocked you can cook Thanksgiving dinner for all fourteen people as well. (How do we know? We've done it!). Then, there are all the little extras like a baby crib and car seat for those who need it, beach towels and chairs, scented candles, coolers and even insulated drink holders.

Precaution Drugs
Take extra precautions. In your carry-on luggage bring an extra pair of eyeglasses or contact lenses and enough of any medication you take to last the entire trip. You may also want your doctor to write a spare prescription using the drug's generic name, since brand names may vary from country to country. Never put prescription drugs or valuables in luggage to be checked. To avoid customs delays, carry medications in their original packaging. And don't forget to copy down and carry addresses of offices that handle refunds of lost traveler's checks.
