Situated on approximately five acres of property at Whitney Bay in the Southampton Parish, our cottages are nestled in a quiet and peaceful area at the western end of the beautiful South Shore.
All our cottages provide the comforts of home along with an ocean view and a daily maid service. The kitchens are fully equipped if you wish to prepare a delightful meal for that special someone. However, if you prefer to eat out, there are a number of first class restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes driving distance.
Nearby Attractions:
We are surrounded on three sides by the beautiful Port Royal 18-hole Championship Golf Course, owned and operated by the Bermuda Government. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this challenging par-71 course has become a firm favorite of both visiting and local golfers.
Port Royal's four "Plexipave" tennis courts, two of which are floodlit for night play, are less than a five minute walk away from Munro Beach Cottages.
Advanced starting times for golf and tennis can be arranged through our office.
The waters off Munro Beach Cottages offer the finest Pompano and Bone fishing in Bermuda, and fish like Grey Snapper can be caught from our shoreline. Charter boats for both reef and deep sea fishing can easily be arranged.
At low tide the South Shore reef line is within wading distance of our beach - very handy for snorkeling.
Sailing, scuba diving and horseback riding are available close by.
Pedal cycling and jogging are both popular in Bermuda, and our quiet location is ideally suited for these pursuits.
Amenities:
In addition to a king size bed or two twin beds, the standard units have a double sofa bed, accommodating the maximum of four persons. All units have reverse cycle air-conditioning, overhead tropical fan, private telephone, color T.V., radio and in-room safe.
The cottages are duplex (two units on ground level), some with connecting doors, and all have panoramic ocean views.
Our units consist of livingroom/ bedroom combination with dining
area, separate kitchen and
bathroom with tub and shower.
All kitchens are fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven/broiler,coffee percolator, and toaster. Barbecues are
supplied. Daily morning maid service is provided.
