The Newly Restored Mariners Cliffside Beach Resort is a luxury West Indies Style cottage hotel set on 8.5 acres of beachfront land in Sandy Ground, Anguilla, overlooking colourful Road Bay Harbour and just steps away from picturesque Sandy Ground Village.
Consisting of 21 cottages, each with gingerbread framed verandahs, The Mariners offers a variety of accommodation in rooms, 1 & 2 bedroom suites, 3 bedroom cottages, Honeymoon suites, and Presidential Quarters.
The atmosphere at Mariners Cliffside Beach Resort is one of quiet sophistication and simplicity, enhanced by its Caribbean village setting.
The relaxation is memorable at The Mariners. Our magnificent beach is perfect for sunning, snorkeling, sailing and windsurfing - and all the equipment you need is complimentary. We also offer delightful boat excursions and there's a fresh-water swimming pool, lighted tennis court for your enjoyment. The pool cabana provides breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. There's entertainment every Saturday night and, for your convenience, we have laundry service, and rental cars on the premises.

Ocean Undercurrents
If you get sucked out into the ocean by an undercurrent follow these instructions:
Do not panic, save all your strength.
Act immediately. Swim parallel to the shoreline. Even if you cannot, keep trying until you can.
What you are doing is swimming out of the undertow and into the current that will more than likely push you back to shore. Remember, in saltwater you float so you can stay alive for any number of days. Unless you are on a secluded beach a boat will reach you in time to rescue you should you fail to not be able to swim out of the undertow.
