Spacious Caribbean villa-style suites await you at Point Pleasant Resort, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Relax on Pineapple Beach, adjacent to our shoreline, or discover the secluded Sugar Beach at the end of the nature trail in our 15-acre island preserve. Three intimate pools and sun decks are nestled among the lush hillside, hidden high above the horizon.
Point Pleasant Resort features fine dining at two restaurants, the award winning Agave Restaurant and Fungi's On The Beach.
Located on St. Thomas, in the U.S. Virgin islands, we are on beautiful Water Bay overlooking the Caribbean Sea. From our northeast end of St. Thomas, the views are breathtaking --all the way to the British Virgin Islands. The resort is 9 miles from the airport, and 6 miles from Charlotte Amaile. Ferry service to St. John and the other Virgin Islands departs from the town of Red Hook, 3 miles west of Point Pleasant Resort.

Ocean Undercurrents
If you get sucked out into the ocean by an undercurrent follow these instructions:
Do not panic, save all your strength.
Act immediately. Swim parallel to the shoreline. Even if you cannot, keep trying until you can.
What you are doing is swimming out of the undertow and into the current that will more than likely push you back to shore. Remember, in saltwater you float so you can stay alive for any number of days. Unless you are on a secluded beach a boat will reach you in time to rescue you should you fail to not be able to swim out of the undertow.
