Located on the eastern tip of St. Thomas, on the quiet side of Red Hook. This small condominium complex is 150 yards from a peaceful white sandy beach. Look out over the sparkling waters of the famous windward passage from the U.S. Virgin Islands to the British islands beyond. Two modern one-bedroom condominiums available for rent directly from the owner.
Each rattan-furnished unit features a large bedroom with a king- or queen-sized bed, private bath, living room and fully-equipped kitchen. Fresh linen and towels are complimentary. There is also a telephone and cable/TV. A small porch or patio overlooking a grassy yard fringed with tropical greenery, creates a secluded ambience.
Eastwind Condominiums are located on the east end of St. Thomas, on the peaceful side of Red Hook, adjacent to Vessup Bay beach, and the National Park Service landing. Between the two, is Latitude 18, a small marina and bar.
Nearby Attractions:
A five minute walk south brings you to Bluebeards Beach. This undeveloped beach which neighbors the Ritz Carlton St. Thomas, is a favorite for locals especially windsurfers, and is a popular spot for weekend beach Bar-B-Qs.
A few minutes drive from Eastwind - is Red Hook, where ferries cast off hourly for the 15 minute Ferry ride to the island of St. John. Charter sailing, sport fishing, snorkel and scuba excursions depart daily from Red Hook's American Yacht Harbor marina. Small power boat rentals are also available. Conveniently, Red Hook has a shopping center with 2 good supermarkets, a drug store, laundromat, bank, post office and several excellent restaurants.

Bringing Your Own Boat or Plane
If you plan to arrive in the Caribbean in your own boat or plane, contact the embassy, consulate, or tourist office of each country you plan to visit to learn what is required for entry and exit. Besides title of ownership, most ports of entry will require proof of insurance coverage for the country you are entering. Some countries require a temporary import permit for your boat or plane.
Authorities in the Caribbean are familiar with U.S. regulations for documentation of air and sea craft. They will detain improperly documented craft that enter their territory. In some countries, authorities will confiscate firearms found on a boat or plane unless the owner or master can show proof that U.S. licensing and export procedures have been followed. In addition, some countries impose stiff prison terms for the importation of illegal firearms.
