We are only 8 rooms on a 2 ½ mile deserted white sandy beach. Peaceful, quiet, friendly island with about 80 inhabitants….the way the Caribbean used to be. Donkeys and cows roam the sandy roads and most folks drive golf carts or bicycles. Evidence of this once vibrant salt producing island is seen in the old Salinas, crumbling stone ruins and the great houses of the salt barons.
