Site Information:
Ocean Air
Ocean Air offers affordable holiday accommodation in a luxury two bedroom apartment (condominium) on the prestigous Tobago Plantations development overlooking Tobago's premier championship golf course.
|
More Info: Tobago Plantations is one of Tobago’s newest and most prestigious developments. Located halfway between the airport and Scarborough, this 745 acre ex-sugar plantation boasts some 2.5 miles of Atlantic Ocean-front coast.
The resort is home to the Tobago Hilton hotel and the Tobago Plantations Golf & Country Club - Tobago’s premier championship golf course. The immaculately kept fairways and greens give pleasure to golfers and non-golfers alike. There are dive and water sports centres on site and the lakes and wetlands of the plantation are rapidly becoming one of Tobago’s most significant habitats and breeding grounds for migratory birds.
Both the Hilton and the Golf Club are a short and easy stroll from Ocean Air and provide a variety of restaurants and bars, offering snacks, meals or a drink at all times of the day.
Whatever your interest, you will find that our apartment represents a wonderful pied-Ã -terre and offers ideal holiday accommodation for up to four people.
Amenities: Ocean Air is a very spacious, recently-built, 1st floor apartment with an internal floor area of 1,294 square feet. The large balcony gives fabulous views across the swimming pool and 14th fairway of the golf course to the ocean beyond.
- Large spacious bedrooms - Fully Air-Conditioned - Ensuite Bathroom facilities - Digital Safe & Hairdryer in each bedroom - Cable TV and CD/Tuner - Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer - Maid Service - Shared Swimming Pool - Complimentary Airport Transfers - Welcome Pack of Groceries - Measuring 17.5 x 12.5 feet each, the two fully ensuite bedrooms are the height of luxury. One bedroom is furnished with a king-size double bed, the other with two double beds.
Each room has French windows opening onto the large veranda, and wooden louvers which can be individually opened to provide varying amounts of air. The apartment benefits greatly from the NE Trade Winds that keep this coast delightfully cool and free from annoying mosquitoes. Although air-conditioning is provided in every room, it is rarely needed.
The central living room has French windows onto the main balcony, which like those of the bedrooms, provides stunning views east to the ocean and is ideal for al fresco dining. Just below the balcony is the pool.
The apartment’s kitchen is well equipped with a large oven and ceramic hob, ice-making fridge-freezer, plus a washing machine and tumble drier. There is even a completely separate walk-in shower.

Caribbean Travel Tip Water Safety Make certain that sports equipment, including scuba equipment, that you rent or buy meets international safety standards.
If you use a beach without a lifeguard, exercise extreme caution. Drowning is one of the leading causes of death for Americans in the Caribbean.
Do not dive into unknown bodies of water because hidden rocks or shallow depths can cause serious injury or death. In some places, you may need to wear sneakers in the water for protection against sea urchins.
