Villa Victoria
Villa Victoria is an exclusive executive class plantation house holiday villa located on the unspoiled, Jewel Island of Tobago in the Caribbean.
|
More Info: Villa Victoria is an executive class plantation house. The design and colour reflect the large plantation houses of the past, but Victoria has all the modern amenities one could need for a relaxing holiday.
Throughout the villa, the use of French doors, wooden louvres, large ceiling fans and a traditional plantation, Demerara kitchen window, helps to create that old-fashioned Caribbean flavour.
The villa has two separate driveways leading up to two separate entries. One entry is to the kitchen and the other to the main floor bedroom.
There are two ocean view patios, one from the living room and one off the main floor bedroom.
Separating the patios is an 8ft x 10ft “cocktail/plunge” pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of sun and surf or sightseeing or an after dinner dip!
The patios have table, chairs and a gas Webber barbecue. Extending off the front of the patios is a large expanse of lawn, useful for sunbathing or bird watching.
Amenities: Telephone - personal, direct-dial. Maid service - provided daily except Sundays. Linens - Colour co-ordinated Wamsutta sheets for each bed and pull out sofa. Towels - Colour co-ordinated Fieldcrest towels (includes bath, face and hand towels) for each bathroom Beach towels - Extra-large, top of the line beach towels Baby/child's buggy - available on request Cot - available on request Cable TV Fire extinguishers - fire extinguisher in each bedroom plus Special kitchen fire extinguisher AC smoke detection alarms Security - twenty-four hour security with a gated entry to the resort. Caribbean Travel Tip Safety Tips Crime Information. Most visitors to the Caribbean have a relatively safe trip. However, thievery, purse snatching, and pick pocketing do happen, particularly in cities and at beaches. There has also been an increase in violent crimes, such as rape and assault against tourists. In some places, U.S. passports and identity documents are especially attractive to thieves. Robbery of yachts is a problem in some marinas.
Here are some precautions to keep in mind:
-- Safety begins when you pack. Leave expensive jewelry, unnecessary credit cards, and anything you would hate to lose at home.
-- Use a concealed money pouch or belt for passports, cash, and other valuables.
-- To facilitate replacing a lost or stolen passport, carry two extra passport photos and a photocopy of your passport information page and other identity documents with you in a separate place from those items.
-- Do not take valuables to the beach. When possible, use the hotel safe when you go to the beach or into town.
-- When you enter a marina, register with the local government authorities.
