We at the Bahia Salinas Beach Hotel would like to introduce our new beach front resort and extend a warm island welcome.
Think of us as your home away from home, where the phone won't ring and the fax won't find you, (unless you want it to).
Here you can spend a lazy day on our deserted beach or discover the rich marine life and ecosystem with a personalized boat trip to the nearby mangroves and coral reefs.
Scuba diving or snorkeling trips are available at any time. Just ask at the front desk!
More energetic pursuits include riding along the beach, cycling or hiking through the stunning, rugged cliffs, adorned by an historic lighthouse, built in 1871.
Or perhaps you would like to try one of the Craig Cats, just as much fun as a jet ski but easier to handle.
Whatever you are looking for, we'll be happy to assist. And while you are here, don't forget to take advantage of our special sight seeing and shopping trips to historic places on the island such as Old San Juan and Ponce.
Come and enjoy your holidays in our new hotel, located on the beautiful white sands of the historic Salinas of Cabo Rojo. These Saltmines, (Salinas), date back to 700 A.D. and were exploited by the Spaniards for the first time in 1511.
To this day salt is produced here, by evaporating the water from the sea. During this process, the water changes color from a deep blue to a beautiful flamingo pink.
