Site Information:
Villa Cayman
The Villa Cayman compound consists a 40' wide great room building, separate master suite building with a garden (but private) shower/bath, a two bedroom and loft building all connected by wooden bridges.
|
More Info: In addition there is a pool with barbecue patio, and a large auto court which connects the resident couple's cottage and garage to the main residence.
Designed by the award winning Architect, David Tyrell of DTA Architecture, Villa Cayman is reminiscent of the Caribbean open plantation houses of the 19th century. Features such as huge plantation shuttered windows facing the Caribbean Sea, heavy timber open rafter ceilings, and a 40' wide great room will transport you to a time and place reserved for the privileged few.
Pure Paradise! The white sand beach is the only separation between you and the Caribbean sea. 'Frank Sound' is the name given to the lagoon at the edge of your beach. The barrier reef at the outer edge of the lagoon is over 3000 yards away, taming the waters in between. The compound is lushly covered in flora and fauna of the tropics. Sweet and spicy aromas of night blooming jasmine, and frangipani fill the night air.
Nearby Attractions: Sight seeing, diving, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, fly-fishing for Bonefish (the perfect site is directly in front of the home,) sailing and dining. How about spending your days doing absolutely nothing at all? You'll be suprised at how busy that will keep you!
The best diving on the island is in East End, and the best dive shop on the island, Ocean Frontiers, is also in East End. East End? that's a very short drive, less than 10 minutes, from Villa Cayman. Ocean Frontiers will stop at our door to whisk you away to visibility and marine life that will amaze you.
Amenities: Our friendly resident couple will meet you at the airport, help you with your luggage, and guide you to the car rental agencies. From there, you may follow them to the market and home to the Villa. If you prefer, arrangements may be made in advance for basic groceries. Dinner reservations can be made for you. Linens are changed every four days along with a light cleaning.
