Sailing is an essential part of the Tortola experience. A number of day sails operate in the Islands. For Island hopping look out for the speed boat rentals that operate at West End and Cane Garden Bay. Ferries can also take you to other islands - the When is the regular ferry to Jost van Dyke from West End, while Smiths and Speedy’s go to Virgin Gorda from Road Town.
Sage Mountain National Park includes a number of trails, for a less energetic excursion visit the Botanical Gardens in Road Town.
