Just outside the lagoon is a sublime powdery beach nestled between palm trees and turquoise seas. Snorkeling off Dawn Beach is highly esteemed as one of the best spots around the island due to the extensive coral reefs. Access to the beach is via Captain Oliver's Taxiboat, which is free of charge for guests of Captain Oliver's hotel. The crossing of the lagoon takes just a little over a minute.

iscover the Off-Shore islands - Sailing or motor boat day-trips can be arranged to take you to the nearby islands: Pinel, Tintamarre, St. Barths, Anguilla, Prickly Pear or Sandy Island.
Deep Sea Fishing - Both full and half-day fishing charters can be arranged. The frequent "catches of the day" are marlin, dolphin (not Flipper), king fish, wahoo, and a variety of tuna.
Helicopter Tours - For a bird's eye view of the islands, a variety of tours can be arranged: St. Martin/St. Maarten, St. Barths or Anguilla island tours.
Horseback Riding - During the two and a half hour ride between Oyster Pond and Orient Beach, your horse will take you along the seaside, for a swim, and for a stroll on the beach.
