On arrival at our small estate, you are immediately welcomed by our Labrador retrievers and become part of our extended family , which is the essence of the friendly nature of life on Carriacou. Relax on our communal deck and soak up the breathtaking view, savor Ulla's gourmet meals or simply imbibe Dave's unbeatable magic elixir, try to subdue the bananaquits and grackles or admire the graceful pelicans and frigate birds.

Possibilities here are almost unlimited. Dave has recently built a 28' launch powered by 2x 85 horse power Yamahas. "MOSTLY HARMLESS" was constructed under the tutelage of world famous yachtsman and Caribbean character Paul Johnson-- and this rig was designed to picnic cruise in the Grenadines as well as fish the outer banks.
Typically, a day trip will take you to a variety of beaches and snorkel destinations including the Tobago Cays--where you will be wined and dined on Ulla's incredible lunches and Dave's intoxicating libations.
Sailing...
For those who like to sail: the Grenadines is a paradise. Windward is the home of one of the last indigenous working sailing fishing fleets anywhere....and these veterans of their craft will guide you on an unforgettable day trip.
Windsurfing...
When it's blowin'...Windward Bay offers some of the best bump'n'jump sailing around for intermediate to advanced sailors on our state-of-the-art equipment.
Kayaking...
We have double and single ocean kayaks available for paddling out to the reef for snorkeling at your leisure.

An increasingly popular pasttime at Bayaleau Point Cottages....some of our guests have prepared this list of bird species for your viewing pleasure.
Going to the Beach...
Whether by boat or by foot or by bus...Carriacou is well-known for it's beautiful white sand beaches ringed by coral reefs and turquoise waters.
Hiking with Popo is also a popular activity: discovering ruins, old wells, fabulous vistas and seldom seen watering holes.
Also on the activity list for the coming season is the Carriacou Donkey Trek--tours from 3 hours to 5 days...for more info...inquire within.
Scuba diving is also available from the local dive centers.
LIMIN': this is the activity that beats all activities....it is simply Caribbean and usually can be accomplished by the neophyte after about a week on our distant shores. When you get fully engrossed in this activity you needn't ask if we be limin'....New Balance sneakers not required...just a hammock and a bottle of rum.

Preparation for Your Trip
Start Early. If a passport is required for you to enter the country where you are planning to travel, apply for it as soon as possible.

If you are in an area experiencing civil unrest or a natural disaster, if you will be staying more than two weeks in an area, or if you are going to a place where communications are poor, you are encouraged to register with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. Registration takes only a few moments, and it may be invaluable in case of an emergency. Remember to leave a detailed itinerary and the numbers of your passport or other citizenship documents with a friend or relative in the United States.
For up-to-date travel information on any country in the world that you plan to visit, obtain the Department of State's Consular Information Sheet. This covers topics such as entry regulations, the crime and security situation, drug penalties, and location of the nearest U.S. embassy, consulate or consular agency.
The Department also issues Travel Warnings and Public Announcements. A Travel Warning advises travelers not to go to a country because of dangerous conditions and/or U.S. government's ability to assist a U.S. citizen in distress there is severely limited. A Public Announcement is issued as a means to disseminate information quickly about relatively short-term and/or trans-national conditions which would pose significant risks to the security of American travelers.
