Newhaven Mansion is a privately owned converted mansion standing in 3 acres of lush tropical gardens. The property features Latin balconies and arches, with the accommodation consisting of six 2/3 bedroom superior apartments which are air conditioned and fully equipped. Daily maid service is provided.
The property has it own fresh water swimming pool together with its own private access to the beautiful Gibbs Beach (100 metres away) which offers free bathing.
Holetown and Speightstown, two major shopping centres, are only a short drive away, and there you can find plenty shops, bars and restaurants. It is also ideal as a base to explore beautiful Barbados "Gem of the Caribbean Sea".

Ocean Undercurrents
If you get sucked out into the ocean by an undercurrent follow these instructions:
Do not panic, save all your strength.
Act immediately. Swim parallel to the shoreline. Even if you cannot, keep trying until you can.
What you are doing is swimming out of the undertow and into the current that will more than likely push you back to shore. Remember, in saltwater you float so you can stay alive for any number of days. Unless you are on a secluded beach a boat will reach you in time to rescue you should you fail to not be able to swim out of the undertow.
