Harbour Crest House
On a clear day, the islands of Saba, St. Eustatia, and St. Kitts provide an equally stellar backdrop. Located in the Preservation District of Gustavia, the center of life in St. Barths, Harbour Crest House is one of only a few villas available for rent in this historic port.

Situated on the leeward crest, this villa is located above the harbor in the Port of Gustavia. To your east, sailboat masts and the lights of classic French restaurants compliment the star-lit evenings. To the west, only the beautiful, blue expanse of the Caribbean Sea, with the passing of visiting sailboats and private yachts, fill your days with incredible views and serenity. The villa is of French and Caribbean design, and furnished with a combination of French country and British West Indies appointments. The style is casual and relaxed, with a touch of elegance. The villa consists of a large living room, dining area, kitchen, four bedrooms and 3 ½ baths. The three master suites open onto terraces which overlook the pool and afford panoramic views of the sea. For the nanny or occasional visitor, a fourth bedroom is available. Outside living is composed of three shaded terraces, a large pool surrounded by additional patio space, and two Jacuzzi's. All outside areas have comfortable furnishings appropriate for tanning or relaxing during the day or entertaining at sunset.
Nearby Attractions:
Privacy: The pool, jacuzzi's and outdoor living areas are completely private. Waves break against the rocks 60' below the patio. One can feel most comfortable sunbathing "au naturel" or skinny dipping at most any time, day or night.
Although private and secluded, Harbour Crest House is located in one of the best locations on the island. Within a five minute walk (one minute by car), you will find a multitude of fine French and Creole restaurants (not to mention Italian, Vietnamese and Mediterranean) and, last but not least, the famous "La Select" for which Jimmy Buffet wrote "Cheeseburger in Paradise".
In addition, several local boulangeries provide hot croissants and baguettes in the morning, as well as take-out for lunch and dinner. For the shopper, everything from Cartier and designer boutiques to local art shops, museum, and antique galleries are just part of what Gustavia has to offer - all within a short walking distance.
Of course, one must not miss the harbor itself. Checking out the beautiful boats is a daily promenade for most visitors. Also within a 5 minute walk is little Anse de Grand Galet (Shell Beach) - terrific for shell collectors, as well as those wishing to swim long laps or snorkel. The beaches of St. Jean, Saline, and Gouverneur are only a 10 minute drive away.

- CD/tape/radio players in all bedrooms
- Telephone with answering machine and e-mail connection.
- Large Pool plus two jacuzzi's.
- Fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops (dishwasher, microwave, blender, stove, refrigerator, etc.).
- Linens: All bed linens and bath and beach towels provided. Changed every third day.
- Air conditioners & fans: ceiling fans are located in all rooms, air conditioners and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.
- Bathrooms: three full, all with marble countertops, double bowl vanities and large showers and one ½ bath, plus outdoor shower.
- Bedrooms: Four - 2 king, each with ensuite bath; 1 queen and 1 w/two twin beds,shared full bath.

Jungle & Rainforest Treking
If you plan to walk into the jungle make sure you know what you are doing. Carry a GPS and know how to use it. A compass will help the experienced explorer but if you just bought it and expect to enter the jungle and knock about then you may find yourself in deep trouble.
If you have to venture into the bush then please follow these instructions:
- Tell somebody where you are going.
- Bring lots of water.
- Make sure your compass works.
- Mark your trail.
- Be visually aware and remember landmarks.
- Check to see where the sun is when you enter the bush then check your watch to see what time it is, make regular checks to orient yourself to the movement of the sun.
