More Info:
The Cocoloba Beach Resort, Barnes Bay, is Anguilla's most affordable full size, full-service resort. Located on the Atlantic side of the island, Cocoloba's sixteen acres of tropical gardens mantel a breathtaking coral bluff that divides two of the 'World's Best' beaches.

Crowning the western bluff of Meads Bay, Cocoloba's Main House is an architectural mix of European and Caribbean styling. The A-frame structure, ethereal interiors and pastel colors are the perfect compliment to the island's soft and natural beauty. The Main House overlooks the beautiful crescents of Meads and Barnes Bay and is home to the reception area, the Cocoloba Restaurant and the resort's two poolside bars.

Cascading from the Main House to the shores of Barnes Bay are the chalets and buildings that hold the resort's one hundred and ten private rooms. Breezy island styling and Euro-western standards provide guests with spacious comfort. Beachside chalets have sunken living rooms while suites have slightly larger floor space. Each room is well appointed with patio/balcony, mini-refrigerator, in room safe, air conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone and private bath complete with walk-in shower, bidet, hair dryer and bathrobe. Some rooms are adjoining and provide families with convenience and in-room privacy.

Nearby Attractions:
The calm and pristine waters off Barnes Bay are host to a myriad of water sport options. Beachside, Cocoloba offers its guests windsurfing, sea kayaks, snorkeling, sailfish, lounge chairs, umbrellas and miles of pristine sand and swimming. Day trip cruises to offshore cays and reefs for dining, exploring, snorkeling, diving and fishing can be arranged.

In the garden there is hard court tennis with lights for night play and the hotel pro is available for lessons by appointment. Guests without partners can arrange play with other guests through the hotel concierge service. Other off-beach hotel amenities include light spa services such as manicure, pedicure and in-room massage. Full-service day spas are nearby and treatments and transportation are easily arranged for guests through the concierge.

Amenities:
With happy hour daily from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. The Cocoloba Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serves an array of International and West Indian cuisine. While views of the moonlit sea offer a romantic dining ambiance, the restaurant's unique centerpiece is its aquarium, which features a spectacular display of local sea life. Five dining islands provide intimate settings both above and around the tank.

Cocoloba Beach Resort is centrally located on the western end of Anguilla - the area of the island designated for tourism development. The majority of island attractions are very nearby and include a number of art galleries and studios, The Valley, the village of Sandy Ground, over fifty restaurants, the Dolphin Fantasea educational encounter and the island's spas. Anguilla is just sixteen miles long, so even the furthest point from Cocoloba is easily accessible and less than a twenty-minute car ride.

Cocoloba Beach Resort's intimate setting and natural beauty are perfect for your honeymoon or wedding celebration, its easy atmosphere makes it an excellent choice of weekenders, its accommodations and attractions make it fun for the whole family, and professional service and space make Cocoloba a great choice for your business meeting or small conference.

Caribbean Travel Tip

Entry and Exit Requirements
Entering: Every island in the Caribbean has its own entry requirements. Most countries allow you to visit for up to two or three months if you show proof of U.S. citizenship and a return or onward ticket. Some countries, however, require that you have a valid passport. If you are arriving from an area infected with yellow fever, many Caribbean countries require you to have a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. Some countries have an airport departure tax of up to $25. For authoritative information on a country's entry and exit requirements and on its customs and currency regulations, contact its embassy, consulate, or tourist office in the United States. Returning - Caution! Make certain that you can return to the United States with the proof of citizenship that you take with you. Although some Caribbean countries may allow you to enter with only a birth certificate, U.S. Immigration requires that you document both your U.S. citizenship and identity when you reenter the United States. The best document to prove your U.S. citizenship is a valid U.S. passport. Other documents of U.S. citizenship include an expired U.S. passport, a certified copy of your birth certificate, a Certificate of Naturalization , a Certificate of Citizenship , or a Report of Birth Abroad of a U.S. Citizen. To prove your identity, either a valid driver's license or a government identification card that includes a photo or a physical description is acceptable. If you lose or have your U.S. passport stolen while overseas, report it immediately to the local police and the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. A lost or stolen birth certificate or driver's license cannot be replaced outside the United States. There are several countries, most notably Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, and Jamaica, where airlines have consistently refused to board American citizens with insufficient proof of U.S. citizenship. The resulting delays can be inconvenient as well as expensive.
