Location:
Orilla del Mar is located on the northern coast of one of the most beautiful Caribbean islands, the Dominican Republic. At only 20 minutes from Puerto Plata Airport and close to Cabarete (the windsurfers' paradise). It's centered location provides easy access to major cities, picturesque villages and entertainment (casinos, golf...).

Of good construction and located directly by the seaside, this condominium complex offers a roomy lodging set in a marvellous garden surrounding.
Travelling in this part of the country means seeing exotic places with friendly people, discovering new sports activities, trying out new dances and enjoying strings of sandy beaches washed by an emerald sea, rocked by the waves, caressed by the breeze and elated by the salty air.

Some places promise the sea "nearby", meaning you must cross bridges, busy roads or take a shuttle to reach it, whereas we are against the sea: all up against it.
Besides, the name Orilla del Mar means: "at the seaside." Constructed initially to be used as apartment building (condominiums) by Canadian owners, this condominium complex of 84 units is recognized for its spacious apartments (not just rooms.)

Orilla del Mar invites you to discover Cabarete on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic where the salty breeze will delight you and the hot sunshine will provide you relaxation for the body and rest for the mind, days after days.
Cabarete, at a 5 minute drive from our complex (2 km), is the windsurfers paradise. The shape of its bay, the steady wind and the broad reef makes it possible for the beginners, to train in a calm sea while more adventurous surfers can seek new thrills. Cabarete is considered as one of the 10 best sites in the world for windsurfing. This village is easily accessible by public transport offered on the spot. An ideal place for hikers.
Alternatively, a 30 minute stroll on the beach will take you to the village. Or you can walk eastward from the complex to the river that flows into the sea, enjoying kilometers of golden sand.

A few steps from your door, the golden sand beach invites you to kilometers of freedom. Enjoy the sun or relax under the palm trees and the parasols, stretched in your lounge chair, tasting local drinks, with the sound of the waves and the breeze. The discovery of the capricious shores of the sea, on foot or on horse, will satisfy the more undertaking adventurous or sporting spirit.

To listen to the sound of lively music, to bathe, play or simply enjoy a drink, our swimming pool will charm you. While relaxing in our adjoining whirlpool you can start a conversation with other guests. Enjoy the good time! Have fun and relax!
Amenities:
The spacious apartments are offered in three categories : studio, condo 1 room and 2 bedroom suite (2 bathrooms). The studio (46.1 m.²) is designed for two people whereas the condo 1 room (65.3 m.²) will accommodate four people (hide-a-bed).The 2 bedroom suite (94.0 m.²) can lodge comfortably six people (hide-a-bed).
The apartments have living room, hide-a-bed, ceiling fans, large private balcony, wardrobe, bath-tub and showers. In the suite, the second bedroom has its own front door, which provides you with more intimacy. The room housekeeping is done on a weekly basis.
