The Dominican chain of hotels, HODELPA, Hoteles del PaÃs, S.A., was founded in 1990 by investors with ties to the construction and tourism sectors.
The company was formed in response to the decision made by a group of young entrepreneurs to develop significant hotel projects reflecting high standards of quality and profitability in the most demanding tourism areas of the country.
The first installation built was the Costa Real Resort, located in the beautiful village of Sosúa, operated under the All Inclusive concept. This hotel soon became the first of a solid achievement chain. Developed as an apart hotel, this venture from the outset of operations generated a successful working relationship with the co-owners, and a team effort with positive results for the property.
We addressed the lack of hotel space in Santiago de los Caballeros, the second city in the Dominican Republic, by building Hodelpa Gran Almirante Hotel & Casino, combining all state-of-the-art facilities, the warmth of a people proud of their tradition, and excellence of service offered to visitors.
Innovative and efficient strategies in the area of human resources, marketing, sales and finance came into play when a new hotel facility, the Hodelpa Centro Plaza joined the HODELPA family. This property is a true reflection of Santiago, a city that captures the traditions and vibrant rhythm of its people.
In the Bávaro area, is opened since November 2000 the brand new Hodelpa Caribe Club, a tropical fantasy with 135 suites and 215 rooms, 5 restaurants, 4 bars and all the facilities you can dream of in all inclusive resort.
