The resort is situated on the renowned Playa Dorada golf course and our private beach club is located on one of the finest stretches of Playa Dorada beach just a 500 yard stroll across the golf greens - or a quick ride on one of our shuttle cars that go back and forth all the time.
While there's plenty to do at Puerto Plata Village, staying with us puts you right in the middle of all the action at Playa Dorada. This country club style resort area has restaurants, casinos, golf, shopping and nightlife all within easy walking distance, And not far from our village isPuerto Plata City itself, where there's lots more to see and do.
Puerto Plata is the gateway to the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Within a three hour radius of the resort you can experience some of the best golfing, scuba diving, whitewater rafting, windsurfing and whalewatching in the world. This is a diverse land of rain forests, deserts, virgin beaches and coral reefs, often described as the Caribbean's Garden of Eden.

STANDARD ROOMS: There are 124 Standard rooms in the property, featuring individually controlled air-conditioning, Cable TV with integrated radio and alarm clock; telephone and full bathroom with tub and shower. With two double beds, the Standard rooms have a maximum capacity of 4 adults.
SUPERIOR ROOMS: The 216 Superior rooms offer a private balcony and two double beds, Individually controlled air conditioning, Cable TV with integrated radio and alarm clock, full bathroom with tub and shower. The Superior room has a maximum capacity of 4 adults.
MASTER SUITES: This suite is about twice the size of other rooms providing for an ample sitting area. Wide French doors lead to a private verandah and gardens. A walk-in closet in a separate room, leads to the full bathroom with tub and shower. Features are individually controlled, air -conditioning, Cable TV with integrated radio and alarm clock. The Master Suite has a maximum capacity of 4 adults. Additional standard rooms can be interconnected for large groups. There are a total of 46 suites in the hotel.
