Ellis-On-The-Bay is a private compound with three separate rental cottages located directly on the crystal-clear waters of Bimini Bay. The compound offers a spacious sundeck, barbecue facilities, outdoor dining area, and an 80-foot dock right at your door! Not a hotel or motel, more like residential living for short or long visits. You'll be in the perfect location to experience the peaceful aspects of Bimini after your day of diving, snorkeling, fishing, or spiritual seeking on the isle of Bimini.
We rent private cottages that are located on North Bimini, directly on Bimini Bay, and we host both individuals and groups. The straw markets, bars and restaurants of Alice Town are a short distance from our compound; you'll be near enough to be able to choose between enjoying Bimini's night life or just basking beneath the stars in the solitude to be found outside your cottage.
South Bimini is the home of the original Fountain of Youth and is easily accessed from our cottages. Kayak rentals and scuba charters are two of the most popular attractions on the island and the best sources for kayaking and diving in our waters are just moments away in Alice Town. And of course as everybody should know, the fishing can't be beat, both the bonefishing in our shallow water flats near the beach and deep water big game fishing with any of our many charter fishing providers, you're sure to find fishing that pleases you around our islands.

Bringing Your Own Boat or Plane
If you plan to arrive in the Caribbean in your own boat or plane, contact the embassy, consulate, or tourist office of each country you plan to visit to learn what is required for entry and exit. Besides title of ownership, most ports of entry will require proof of insurance coverage for the country you are entering. Some countries require a temporary import permit for your boat or plane.
Authorities in the Caribbean are familiar with U.S. regulations for documentation of air and sea craft. They will detain improperly documented craft that enter their territory. In some countries, authorities will confiscate firearms found on a boat or plane unless the owner or master can show proof that U.S. licensing and export procedures have been followed. In addition, some countries impose stiff prison terms for the importation of illegal firearms.
