Cottage for Rent
Beachside vacation cottage for rent in Eleuthera, Bahamas. The traditional-style cottage is conveniently located between the town of Governor's Harbour and the Governor's Harbour Airport. There is no audible aircraft noise at the cottage.

Travel time from the cottage is ten minutes to both the airport and to Governor's Harbour, a quaint Bahamian town with two large food stores, 2 gas stations and 2 banks - the Royal Bank of Canada and Barclays Bank. There is also a travel agency and a Club Med on the Atlantic side of Governor's Harbour.
The cottage is located close to an extensive palm garden. The area is very picturesque. Guests from Europe and the US consider this area and the beach, a 1 minute walk from the house, one of the most beautiful in Eleuthera.
With a feeling of having a private beach, there is fine, pink sand on a wide beach, ideal for strolling and beachcombing. One enjoys great fishing and snorkeling right from our shore, with hardly any tourists on the beach.
The Atlantic side of the island where the cottage is located is generally cooler than the other side. It is also considered to be the most scenic of our two oceans, with most of Eleuthera's sandy beaches located there.
The beach cottage is very well-equipped with modern conveniences for vacationers, and your comfort in mind:

New, 3 1/2 years old... very clean

Precaution Drugs
Take extra precautions. In your carry-on luggage bring an extra pair of eyeglasses or contact lenses and enough of any medication you take to last the entire trip. You may also want your doctor to write a spare prescription using the drug's generic name, since brand names may vary from country to country. Never put prescription drugs or valuables in luggage to be checked. To avoid customs delays, carry medications in their original packaging. And don't forget to copy down and carry addresses of offices that handle refunds of lost traveler's checks.
