Beach/Pools: Marriott Frenchman's Reef offers two freshwater pools, swim-up bar, dramatic waterfalls, multi-level areas for sunning, Jacuzzis and lush tropical landscaping.
Morning Star Beach, one of St. Thomas' world-class beaches, boasts pristine white sand, a variety of water sports, volleyball and other activities. The Seaside Pool with wrap-around terrace is available to both Morning Star and Frenchman's Reef guests.
Sports/Activities: The tennis complex, located at Morning Star Beach, features two courts with Omni surfaces lit for night play. Golf is minutes away at Mahogany Run Golf Course, with pre-arranged tee times.
“Adventure Center" Water Sports offers boat ramps and a dock area at the harbor side of the property. A complete range of water sports and activities is available including: PADI scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing (half-day and full-day trips to nearby islands), sunset cruises, boat rentals, sport fishing, "The Adventure Cat" catamaran and parasailing. Custom excursions, sightseeing tours and shopping can be arranged on request. Morning Star Beach offers excellent windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, jet skiing and beach volleyball.
The Reef Health Club & Spa and full-service Salon are located adjacent to the pool area on Level Two. The 3,600 square foot Health Club offers free weights, state-of-the-art strength training and cardiovascular machines. Exercise classes include Tai Chi, yoga, power walking and water aerobics. Massage therapy, facial and body treatments are available; facilities include a co-ed steam room, locker rooms, showers, sauna and dressing areas.
The resort also features rum and tequila tastings at Coco Joe’s; wine tastings in The Cellar at the resort hosted by local wine distributors; free sailing and snorkel lessons; “Shop Talk” deals and discounts discussions on the best local shopping and family-friendly “Dive-in Movies” shown poolside.

In addition, the Atlantis II, a sleek, 46-passenger submarine adventure, allows guests to navigate the reef at Buck Island in a safe, comfortable air-conditioned cabin.
Shopping: The duty-free limit for goods purchased on St. Thomas is $1,200 so shopping is a popular diversion. Frenchman’s Reef has a selection of duty-free boutiques, or guests can ride the water ferry into town to shop.

Comprising 408 rooms, Frenchman’s Reef includes 27 suites, with ocean, palm court, or harbor views. The top floor of the hotel tower, the "Top of the Reef," features 21 duplex suites with loft bedrooms and spectacular views. Included are 17 "Royal Suites," each with a spiral staircase, balcony, cathedral ceiling, Jacuzzi and upgraded amenities; and four "Grand Suites" (Presidential, Governor, Premier and Ambassador).
The more intimate 96-unit Morning Star Beach Resort is a luxury “hotel within a hotel”. Located directly on Morning Star Beach the resort boasts redesigned room features with a tropical décor, open-air terraces and mahogany sliding doors.
All rooms feature: individually controlled air-conditioning; remote-controlled color satellite television with "On Command" pay-for-view videos; telephones with voice mail, message light and dataport; hair dryer; coffee/tea maker; iron/ironing board; refrigerator; AM/FM clock radio; complimentary in-room safes; and ice makers. Bringing Your Own Boat or Plane
If you plan to arrive in the Caribbean in your own boat or plane, contact the embassy, consulate, or tourist office of each country you plan to visit to learn what is required for entry and exit. Besides title of ownership, most ports of entry will require proof of insurance coverage for the country you are entering. Some countries require a temporary import permit for your boat or plane.
Authorities in the Caribbean are familiar with U.S. regulations for documentation of air and sea craft. They will detain improperly documented craft that enter their territory. In some countries, authorities will confiscate firearms found on a boat or plane unless the owner or master can show proof that U.S. licensing and export procedures have been followed. In addition, some countries impose stiff prison terms for the importation of illegal firearms.
