Located in Playa del Secreto, a quiet neighborhood of exclusive homes and B&B's with none of the big resort hotels, crowds or highways. Just 20 minutes from the Cancun airport our 2 bedroom villa will accommodate your perfect vacation in paradise.
Casa Oceano is a place to have your meals on your time, get dedicated lounges around the pool, see incredible wildlife and watch spectacular sunrises with your morning coffee and sunsets to your beverage of choice. Our private beach area will never be crowed nor will our 5km beach as there are only a handful of exclusive homes for you to view while you walk the beach and collect shells.
Our villa has been tastefully decorated. Having most our furniture handmade by local craftsmen as well as state of the art appliances gives our villa that unique Mexican appeal while keeping all the comforts of home. We also try to accommodate your flight times so that you aren't left waiting for a room on your first day or being kicked out early on your final day. Our complex sits 80 meters from the beach in Playa del Secreto and is named Sandy’s Villas after the builders’ cat. Our vacation rentals villa is affectionately called Casa Oceano and was built in 2001 and has all the newest amenities including internet access and cell phones. We found Casa Oceano on a holiday to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, fell in love with it and bought it in January of 2002. We are minutes from Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos.
The attention to detail in the construction of the complex was painstakingly undertaken by the builders personally. Everywhere you look, their creative touch is evident - from the shells in the cement to the tropically beautiful decorating touches. They have taken much pride in their work and it shows -- especially in the gardens.
Playa del Secreto is a quiet neighborhood with charming homes and bed and breakfasts. You are far away from the city lights, big hotels and busy highways. During the day the complex is filled with the sound of the surf pounding and the tropical birds singing. At night the crickets are heard over the sound of the surf and the stars are magnificent. It is obvious why Playa del Secreto really is a secret!
You can go out to Puerto Morelos for dinner or you can order in from several of the restaurants there that deliver to our area. If fish or lobster is your desire, you can always go to the local fisherman wharf in Puerto Morelos and buy the catch of the day and come home and BBQ it. Playa del Carmen and Cancun have literally hundreds of restaurant and shops for you to eat or browse in.
We are all owners (Canadian, American, Italian) who rent out our villas and condos but also enjoy spending time at Sandy’s Villas . This gives our complex a real feeling of home, family and pride that can be felt the second you enter the gates. This feeling is what makes Casa Oceano the ideal place to unwind and relax. Our 1,600 sqft. vacation rentals villa in Playa del Secreto will accommodate your every whim on the Mayan Riviera. Each of the 2 bedrooms boast king sized beds, huge en-suites and walk-outs to a balcony that overlook both the ocean and jungle with hammocks. Lie in bed and listen to the surf pound and the tropical birds sing. A third full bathroom is located on the main floor where a queen sized pull-out couch can sleep additional guests.
You will never run out of things to do around the villa with over 130 movies to watch on our 25" TV, games and a gourmet kitchen equipped to have casual meals or elegant dinners.
The center piece of the villa is the 800 sqft. roof top terrace. You get a 360-degree view of both jungle and ocean -- a view that is hard to duplicate.
Imagine having your morning coffee to the sunrises and a glass of wine to the sunsets. The surf will pound up to your terrace giving you a feeling of peace and tranquility. If you get lucky you'll spot one of the many flocks of tropical birds flying into the jungle.

Carry an extra supply of batteries, and be prepared to turn on your camera, camcorder, or laptop to prove to security personnel that the device is real. Always ask for hand inspection of film, which becomes clouded after successive exposures to airport X-ray machines, and keep videotapes and computer disks away from metal detectors.
