Cielos Azules Villa
If you've come to the decision that you want to vacation in Xcalak, we think you'll enjoy the seclusion of Cielos Azules. While in a rustic setting, Cielos Azules (which roughly translates to Blue Sky or Blue Heaven) is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath wind and solar powered eco-friendly beach front villa that has many comforts you might not expect at such a remote location.
|
More Info: Cielos Azules has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths plus a queen size futon sofa and two large hammocks for sleeping. The two upstairs bedrooms each have private baths and a balcony looking out over the beach and shoreline. One bedroom upstairs has a king sized bed and the other has two full sized beds. The two downstairs bedrooms each have two twin beds. You should find plenty of towels and linens.
The kitchen has a full size gas powered refrigerator, gas stove and oven. There is a French press coffee maker (that works best with a slightly coarse grind), a good quality juicer (for citrus) and plenty of glasses, plates, dishes, flatware, pots, pans, knives, etc. You will find a base for dispensing 5-gallon jugs of water and there's a blender for mixing up a batch of your frozen drink of choice!
We try to keep the kitchen stocked with some cooking basics but to be perfectly honest, you should plan on bringing any kitchen supplies that you think you will need. Click on the link above for more information and photos.
Nearby Attractions: At Cielos Azules, you can swim, snorkle or dive in your front yard. A local fisherman and his wife live in a traditional Mayan dwelling on the property and they will gladly help out around the house in any way they can. Before your visit, we'll send you a very detailed document with tips on just about everything you need to know to make your visit to Xcalak as enjoyable as possible.

Caribbean Travel Tip Cuts and Scrapes Be sure to pack an effective topical antibiotic cream. The smallest scratch or insect bite can quickly become infected. Try "Bactriban" or "Polysporin". To prevent ringworm, the most effective product is "Nizoral" - sold over the counter as an anti-dandruff shampoo.
