More Info:
Harbour Lights is only accessible by boat and has a 12’ motorized dinghy for transportation across the harbor included in the rental. This island home is the perfect combination of seclusion and peacefulness, but close enough to the village to be convenient. The view across the harbor to the settlement of Hope Town is truly picturesque. This home is ideally suited for a delightful holiday.

Harbour Lights is located on the "Back Creek" side of the harbor. It is in a lovely setting, away from traffic noises, which provides an opportunity to relax and enjoy a quieter pace of life. A two-minute hop by boat across the harbor puts you on the beaches for swimming, snorkeling or beach-combing. Island dining experiences, sailing or power boating, shopping and nightlife are all available in the Hope Town area.
Hope Town is a warm and friendly community where you will feel "at home" immediately. The quaint seaside village and crystal clear waters with gentle waves lapping on the beaches are a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Come enjoy a little touch of paradise at Harbour Lights in the lovely settlement of Hope Town.

Amenities:
Harbour Lights is open and airy and has been completely remodeled and updated. A large deck surrounded by coconut palms and flowering trees circles the front of the house. The deck is perfect for your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, a dishwasher and microwave. The large living room and dining rooms are decorated with "island flavor" furnishings. There is satellite TV, a VCR, tape and CD player available for your pleasure. There is also a VHF radio and telephone for local service.

This vacation home has three bedrooms and two baths. A large bedroom on first floor has a king-sized bed and a private bath. On the second story, the large master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a spectacular view of the harbor and the lighthouse. The third bedroom has two twin beds. A large bathroom separates the bedrooms on the second floor. All towels and linens are furnished except for beach towels.

A small guesthouse sits adjacent to the large dock and is available for larger groups (7-8 guests.) There is a queen bed and a separate bathroom in this facility. This cottage is air-conditioned. We do not rent this independently of the larger house. Harbour Lights is centrally air-conditioned. There is also a 12’ dinghy with an 8 horse power engine included in the rental for your trips across the harbor.

Caribbean Travel Tip

Entry and Exit Requirements
Entering: Every island in the Caribbean has its own entry requirements. Most countries allow you to visit for up to two or three months if you show proof of U.S. citizenship and a return or onward ticket. Some countries, however, require that you have a valid passport. If you are arriving from an area infected with yellow fever, many Caribbean countries require you to have a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. Some countries have an airport departure tax of up to $25. For authoritative information on a country's entry and exit requirements and on its customs and currency regulations, contact its embassy, consulate, or tourist office in the United States. Returning - Caution! Make certain that you can return to the United States with the proof of citizenship that you take with you. Although some Caribbean countries may allow you to enter with only a birth certificate, U.S. Immigration requires that you document both your U.S. citizenship and identity when you reenter the United States. The best document to prove your U.S. citizenship is a valid U.S. passport. Other documents of U.S. citizenship include an expired U.S. passport, a certified copy of your birth certificate, a Certificate of Naturalization , a Certificate of Citizenship , or a Report of Birth Abroad of a U.S. Citizen. To prove your identity, either a valid driver's license or a government identification card that includes a photo or a physical description is acceptable. If you lose or have your U.S. passport stolen while overseas, report it immediately to the local police and the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. A lost or stolen birth certificate or driver's license cannot be replaced outside the United States. There are several countries, most notably Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, and Jamaica, where airlines have consistently refused to board American citizens with insufficient proof of U.S. citizenship. The resulting delays can be inconvenient as well as expensive.
