The Look-Out, completed in 2002, is an ocean view Bahamas vacation villa on the island of Eleuthera. This beautiful Bahamas villa (accomodates 4) is near 4 beaches for swimming and snorkeling. At this delightful Eleuthera vacation rental home you can really get away from it all.

The Look-Out is a beautiful new villa with fantastic Atlantic Ocean views. Located just a 5 minute walk from Little Twin Beach on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, this open and airy 2 bedroom, 1 bath, home is extremely spacious for a couple and very comfortable for a party of four. The perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a relaxing family vacation.
The villa is perched just off the crest of the island on the side of a hill and has been designed to take advantage of the tremendous views this site offers. There is a large patio facing the ocean that is ideal for looking out to sea. From this vantage point there is an unobstructed 180 degree view of the Atlantic. On the horizon you can see Harbor Island to the northwest and James Point to the southeast. Waves can be seen breaking on reefs offshore, the sound of the surf breaking on the cliffs can be heard in the distance.
The living room and second bedroom open directly onto the oceanside patio through sliding glass doors and there are large, ocean facing awning windows in the master bedroom and dining area. There is also a smaller, palm tree shaded patio on the backside of the house - ideal for quiet lounging or reading.
This 1100 sq ft. villa is tastefully decorated in a casual and comfortable Caribbean style. There are ceramic tile floors, wooden valuted ceilings and ceiling fans throughout.
Nearby Attractions:
There are four of Eleuthera's best beaches within a mile of the Look-Out. Little Twin Beach on the Atlantic side is a five minute walk. Also on the Atlantic side, Hidden and Smugglers Beaches are less than a mile. Rainbow Beach, considered one of Eleuthera's nicest, is less than a mile away in a sheltered bay on the Caribbean side. The huge sand bottomed shallow area extends about a quarter mile from shore. It's a great place to spend the day swimming, snorkeling, shelling, or just lounging on the beach. Tennis courts and one of Eleuthera's finest resturants, The Rainbow Inn, are just a 5 minute walk away.

Jungle & Rainforest Treking
If you plan to walk into the jungle make sure you know what you are doing. Carry a GPS and know how to use it. A compass will help the experienced explorer but if you just bought it and expect to enter the jungle and knock about then you may find yourself in deep trouble.
If you have to venture into the bush then please follow these instructions:
- Tell somebody where you are going.
- Bring lots of water.
- Make sure your compass works.
- Mark your trail.
- Be visually aware and remember landmarks.
- Check to see where the sun is when you enter the bush then check your watch to see what time it is, make regular checks to orient yourself to the movement of the sun.
