More Info: Caribbean island at the turn of the century?? No, this is Lookout Cove in the village of Little Bay on the sunny southwestern tip of Jamaica TODAY!
Little Bay which is located near the famous town of Negril. It is a quiet fishing village with two sandy beaches separated by a half mile of low cliffs. The native fishermen are more than happy to sell you lobster or tuna right from their dugout canoes. A short walk from either beach lies Lookout Cove, situated on its own private 3½ acres of tropical splendor next to the sea. LOOKOUT COVE is a very private estate, and removed from the onslaughts of commercial tourism. Both Villa and the Cottage are fully equipped and staffed to make the most of a luxury vacation. This 5000 square-foot villa reveals pure oceanfront luxury within three levels of magnificent living areas:
The ground floor has a huge covered porch where you can sit and catch ocean breezes or look out on the bougainvillea, papaya and other flowers;
The living room and dining area are large and furnished with locally made rattan furniture and decorated with native art;
The dining room, whether set for an intimate romantic dinner for two or a festive party for ten, is perfect for candlelit dining consisting of fare such as Jamaican ‘Jerk’ specialties, lobster, fresh fish, or local chicken along with the usual huge garden salad and fresh fruit;
Upstairs there are three large master bedrooms with a total of four double beds and three three-quarter beds that are hand carved with mermaids and Spanish galleons. Each bedroom opens out onto another huge level of covered porch and more spectacular views. The two spacious upstairs bathrooms and the downstairs bathroom are decorated with unusual tropical fish tiles;
A beautiful spiral staircase leads from the second floor up to the third floor "Lookout", where one can sip morning coffee or evening cocktails and watch breath-taking sunrises and sunsets;
Lookout Cove is very private and removed from the onslaughts of commercial tourism. The only people you need to see are Shorty, Margaret and Niah, who are more like family than staff. They cook whatever you wish, clean, show you the village, and make sure that there are always fresh flowers in your bedroom. If one wants to venture out, there are caves to explore in Little Bay, deep sea fishing and miles of deserted beaches within minutes. The restaurants, shops and night life of Negril are about ten miles away should you get the urge to join the maddening crowd.
If you are looking to truly vacation, where you can relax and be pampered, this spectacular brand new villa in the midst of a small friendly Jamaican fishing village could be your getaway vacation of a lifetime! The COTTAGE at Lookout Cove is a quaint cliffside cottage, located on the same wonderful estate as the villa, overlooking the ocean. The cottage is unadulterated comfort, complete with private swimming lagoons, tropical gardens and miles of unspoiled beaches. You will also find ideal snorkeling reefs, spectacular sunsets, all with a friendly staff that caters to your wishes!!!
The two bedroom cottage, which accommodates up to four people, may be rented, either in conjunction with the main house, or as a separate residence with its own staff, and comes complete with its own personality:
It is appointed with many of the same features as the larger villa such as spectacular vistas, locally made rattan furniture, local art, and two ornate hand-carved queen beds;
Breakfast and dinner is included and prepared by the staff. We suggest it be enjoyed outside on your patio amidst the fragrant bougainvillea and hibiscus;
A cliff side ‘deck’ area allows private access to the brilliant blue bay;
And the tennis court is at hand for the athletically inclined, and a golf course nearby for the obsessed. Lookout Cove is removed from the onslaughts of commercial tourism. The only people you really need to see are the staff. They cook whatever you wish, clean, show you the village, and answer questions you may have about the island.
If one wants to venture out, there are caves to explore in Little Bay, deep sea fishing and miles of deserted beaches within minutes. About ten miles away are the restaurants, shops and night life of Negril should you get the urge to join the party crowd.
Nearby Attractions: The Villa at Lookout Cove is a luxurious oceanfront estate comprised of secluded lagoons, tropical gardens, and unspoiled beaches and cliffs. Also included are ideal snorkeling reefs, spectacular sunsets, and a friendly staff that caters to your wishes!!!
Beside the villa, amidst the lush tropical foliage, is a tennis court for your sporting pleasure. There is also a golf course nearby should you wish to challenge the links. Down by the water is the large cabana where you can cool down and enjoy stunning scenery after your athletic endeavors.

Caribbean Travel Tip Jungle & Rainforest Treking If you plan to walk into the jungle make sure you know what you are doing. Carry a GPS and know how to use it. A compass will help the experienced explorer but if you just bought it and expect to enter the jungle and knock about then you may find yourself in deep trouble.
If you have to venture into the bush then please follow these instructions:
- Tell somebody where you are going.
- Bring lots of water.
- Make sure your compass works.
- Mark your trail.
- Be visually aware and remember landmarks.
- Check to see where the sun is when you enter the bush then check your watch to see what time it is, make regular checks to orient yourself to the movement of the sun.
