From our shaded patio, you'll enjoy a wide panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea. Plantings of tropical fruits and beautiful flowers on our secluded, acre-plus grounds assure your privacy. But you can also visit with fishermen-neighbors we've known for 30 years; they can take you on a fishing or sight-seeing trip, or you can just sit and "reason" (talk) with them.
Our Billy's Bay village has the serenity and sunshine for which the South Coast of Jamaica is famous and warm, calming Caribbean waters. The Santa Cruz mountains, our backdrop, create a dry, semi-arid environment that's ideal for relaxing from cold climates, deadlines and drudgery!

You'll be looked after by Miss Joyce, our housekeeper and (superb!) cook, as if you were family. Enjoy our private 50-foot lap pool, tennis court and croquet court (lit after dinner). Or walk out the sea-gate to a sandy swimming beach. Children can paddle in the reef-protected shallows. Off the reef, an undersea world of coral invites snorkeling when the sea is calm. As the on-shore breeze rises, it's a short walk up the beach to where a break in the reef and a permanent sandbar make for good body-surfing.
Amenities:
There are four screened, overhead-fanned bedrooms opening on a wide shaded patio that catches the near-constant sea breeze. Inside is a living room and dining area that seats eight. We have a telephone, Internet connection and fax at the house. Just below the patio is a sheltered sunning terrace.

Jungle & Rainforest Treking
If you plan to walk into the jungle make sure you know what you are doing. Carry a GPS and know how to use it. A compass will help the experienced explorer but if you just bought it and expect to enter the jungle and knock about then you may find yourself in deep trouble.
If you have to venture into the bush then please follow these instructions:
- Tell somebody where you are going.
- Bring lots of water.
- Make sure your compass works.
- Mark your trail.
- Be visually aware and remember landmarks.
- Check to see where the sun is when you enter the bush then check your watch to see what time it is, make regular checks to orient yourself to the movement of the sun.
