Jake's is a boutique resort with personality and charisma. Its 15 cottages were created by theatrical designer Sally Henzell to commune with garden, sea and sky. It’s the perfect choice for guests who value openness, imagination, simplicity and romance.
Two restaurants serve fresh seafood and authentic Jamaican cuisine. Jake's is the perfect choice for a romantic getaway, a spiritual retreat or an adventure.
Jake's is located in Treasure Beach, Jamaica, a secluded fishing village on the island’s undeveloped south coast. Staying at Jake's puts you in the center of Jamaica’s natural beauty, spirituality, and robust cuisine. It’s an elemental experience.
Jake's is two-and-a-half hours by car from Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. Ground transfers are available.
Conch
One bedroom Gardenview. This cozy room features a double bed and bathroom with large picture windows overlooking the tropical vegetation. In keeping with Jake's rustic charm, this room does not have air conditioning, a phone or a TV. Room amenities include a CD player, selection of CDs available at the front desk, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
Coral
One bedroom Gardenview Cottage. This cozy room features a queen bed and bathroom with large picture windows overlooking the tropical vegetation. In keeping with Jake's rustic charm, this room does not have air conditioning, a phone or a TV. Room amenities include a CD player, selection of CDs available at the front desk, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
Seahorses downstairs
One bedroom Gardenview Suite. This suite features a queen bed, a bathroom and sitting area. The back patio features two lounge chairs for sunbathing with a view of tropical foliage. In keeping with Jake's rustic charm, this room does not have air conditioning, a phone or a TV. Room amenities include a CD player, selection of CDs available at the front desk, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
Seahorses upstairs
One bedroom Oceanview Suite. This suite features a queen bed, a bathroom and sitting area. A large balcony off the front of the suite offers a view of the Caribbean Sea. In keeping with Jake's rustic charm, this room does not have air conditioning, a phone or a TV. Room amenities include a CD player, selection of CDs available at the front desk, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
Abalone #1
One bedroom Oceanfront Suite. This suite features a queen bed, a full indoor bathroom and an outdoor shower. Unlike most rooms at Jake's, this unit has air conditioning. In keeping with Jake's rustic charm, this suite does not have a phone or a TV. Room amenities include a CD player, selection of CDs available at the front desk, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
Seapuss I & II
Deluxe one bedroom oceanfront cottage. This cozy room features a queen bed and bathroom with an outdoor shower. It offers an unobstructed view of the Caribbean Sea with a balcony directly over the sea. In keeping with Jake's rustic charm, this room does not have air conditioning, a phone or a TV. Room amenities include a CD player, selection of CDs available at the front desk, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
Upstairs Abalone
One bedroom Oceanfront. This second story cottage has a double bed, a bathroom and balcony with a sun bed overlooking the sea. In keeping with Jake's rustic charm, this room does not have air conditioning, a phone or a TV. Room amenities include a CD player, selection of CDs available at the front desk, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
Treasure Cottage
Two Bedroom Oceanfront Suite. This two bedroom, two-bath oceanfront suite with a living room is separate from Jake's cluster of colorful cottages. It is a short walk from the property and is very private. The tranquility of this cottage inspired Alex Haley to write parts of his epic novel Roots. Amenities include a CD player, a library of books and games, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
Sweetlip
Two Bedroom Oceanfront Suite. This two bedroom, two-bath oceanfront suite with a living room and kitchen is adjacent to Jake's cluster of colorful cottages. Unlike most units at Jake's, it does have air conditioning. This suite does not have a phone or a TV. Amenities include a CD player, selection of CDs available at the front desk, and a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.
