Nirvana is our version of paradise, on one of the world's great beaches. As the name implies it is truly a piece of heaven on earth...imagine a lush green tropical garden filled with exotic flowers & blooming trees loaded with fruits & colorful hummingbirds...all set right in the middle of a 7-mile beach of silky soft powder white sand caressed by the warm, clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean.
We offer a limited number of guests a Caribbean beachfront vacation experience with a warm Jamaican welcome & American style amenities in just 8 rental units. Your privacy & security are assured in a relaxed & romantic setting where you can forget the pressures & cares of daily life. All of Nirvana's immaculate accommodation's have been planned for your enjoyment.
Nirvana's incredible botanical gardens feature humming bird families in residence, as well as many other breeds of exotic tropical birds.... a birdwatchers paradise!

Scuba Diving
The Negril Scuba Center was the first scuba training center in Negril. They offer day and night dives. If you are not certified, don't worry, they will give you a resort course which enables you to dive with the regularly scheduled dives.They are top rated for safety and reliability.
Nearby you will find tour operators who can arrange sunset sailboat rides, country waterfall trips, horseback riding in the hills & day trips to other parts of the island. The Jamaican people are friendly, helpful & proud to show-off their island paradise to all visitors.
Amenities:
The cottages are fully screened, have ceiling fans in all rooms & family-style comforts. Our new luxury Verandah Suites offer the ultimate in beachfront living & feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, a kitchenette & large private verandah facing the beach, the sea & the sunsets. The cottages have full kitchens & include
maid/cook service, guests provide groceries. Daily maid service is included in the couple's suites, of course. Rollaway beds are available in any of the units, to accommodate extras. Our newest 2 bedroom cottage is wheel-chair accessible.
We have a totally private beach area within our property lines, beach lounge chairs, a charcoal grill & picnic area & hammocks in the shady gardens. Extra services are available on request, such as nanny or baby-sitting service from experienced & recommended Jamaican sitters, laundry service is also available, ...spoiling our guests is our specialty.
Our recommended van & taxi drivers are fully licensed & insured & are available for all your transportation needs including airport transfers by reservations, as well as shopping , day trips to other beautiful & interesting places in Jamaica. Leave the driving to local drivers who are experienced in driving on the LEFT.
We know hotel security is on everyone's mind while traveling and we have 24 hour security in place for your complete peace of mind. Our beach guard assures your privacy and will watch any personal belongings you may want to leave with him while you take a walk go for a parasail ride or do watersports or relax on the beach. Our night watchman takes over in the evening and patrols our grounds while you sleep.

Airport Transfers
We can recommend local drivers who have safe new vehicles, are completely trustworthy, fully insured and have excellent driving records. We need your airline, flight number & time of arrival in Montego Bay at least 1 week before your arrival to schedule this service.
Babysitting
We have well qualified nannies who can be scheduled by the hour or by the day. These ladies really have a ball looking after kids of all ages and can make a carefree vacation for parents who would like to have their kids along,but need a break. We need 24 hours advance notice to set up sitters.
Laundry Service
Hand laundry service is available at your request, with a charge per basket.
Massage Therapy

Entry and Exit Requirements
Entering: Every island in the Caribbean has its own entry requirements. Most countries allow you to visit for up to two or three months if you show proof of U.S. citizenship and a return or onward ticket. Some countries, however, require that you have a valid passport. If you are arriving from an area infected with yellow fever, many Caribbean countries require you to have a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. Some countries have an airport departure tax of up to $25. For authoritative information on a country's entry and exit requirements and on its customs and currency regulations, contact its embassy, consulate, or tourist office in the United States.
Returning - Caution! Make certain that you can return to the United States with the proof of citizenship that you take with you. Although some Caribbean countries may allow you to enter with only a birth certificate, U.S. Immigration requires that you document both your U.S. citizenship and identity when you reenter the United States.
The best document to prove your U.S. citizenship is a valid U.S. passport. Other documents of U.S. citizenship include an expired U.S. passport, a certified copy of your birth certificate, a Certificate of Naturalization , a Certificate of Citizenship , or a Report of Birth Abroad of a U.S. Citizen.
To prove your identity, either a valid driver's license or a government identification card that includes a photo or a physical description is acceptable.
If you lose or have your U.S. passport stolen while overseas, report it immediately to the local police and the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. A lost or stolen birth certificate or driver's license cannot be replaced outside the United States. There are several countries, most notably Barbados, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, and Jamaica, where airlines have consistently refused to board American citizens with insufficient proof of U.S. citizenship. The resulting delays can be inconvenient as well as expensive.
