Round Hill, the Caribbean's first great resort is a canvas of pastel tropical flowers and graceful colonial architecture framed by lush Jamaican countryside and crystal clear beckoning sea.
Personalized service is assured by a staff of 220, most with many years of loyal service at Round Hill. The city of Montego Bay and Sangsters International Airport is 12 kilometers or 25 minutes drive east of the resort.
Guests can choose from the Pineapple House Hotel with 36 superior and deluxe rooms overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Round Hill's seaside fresh water pool, or one of the 27 private villas dotted over the hillsides.
We are happy to announce the opening of our new spa at WELCOME WHARF. During the summer months we restored a celebrated 18th century plantation house on 10 acres of beachfront connected to Round Hill with a beautiful walkway along the ocean and rainforest. The spa at Welcome Wharf accommodates our air-conditioned indoor/outdoor fitness centre/gym, beauty salon and seven treatment rooms as well as a tropical outdoor treatment area. The tranquil beachfront lawns are used for afternoon yoga classes. New and exotic therapies have been created with local ingredients that capture the spirit and aromas of Jamaica.

Entertainment varies nightly and may include a bonfire lit beach picnic accompanied by familiar calypso tunes, a four course dinner and romantic dancing under the stars, or casual dining on Jamaican specialties followed by a cabaret of folk music and dancing.
Mondays - Beach Party!
Welcome-Rum Punch, donkey rides for children, and a sumptuous buffet on the beach, with bonfire, barbeque, and Calypso band.
Casual atmosphere...go barefoot!
Tuesdays we host the Manager's Cocktail Party, followed by a la carte dinner and Calypso tunes.
Wednesdays, the pianist plays for the evening. Dinner is a la carte with option of our Caribbean Curry Table.
Thursdays and Sundays, we serve a la carte menu while guests are entertained by piano or Calypso music.
Friday - Jamaica Night: On the seaside terrace, featuring a bountiful buffet, Jamaican specialties, Steel Drums or Reggae Band, and an exciting Jamaican folklore performance after dinner.
Saturday - Gala Dinner Dance: A more formal evening of dining and dancing on the seaside terrace with a Jazz Band. Jackets often worn, though not required.
Daily/Nightly:
Afternoon Tea: A variety of fine teas available every afternoon in the Cocktail Bar from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is a complimentary service to all our guests.
A la carte menus do change on daily basis. Dress code after 7:00 pm. is informal, long trousers and collared shirt for men, except Mondays and Friday, when shorts are allowed.
Piano or Calypso Music is played for you from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for cocktails in the Cocktail Bar
Bar Service & Beach Bar:
Our bartenders will mix you any cocktails, from old fashioned Martinis to rum-influenced cocktails such as "Tall Jamaican", "Round Hill Special" or "Big Bamboo". There is also a wine list with a wide variety of wines from California, France, Italy, Australia and Chile. During the day, we serve our fresh fruit juices at the pool and beach bar. A special blend of daily fresh fruits creates the "Round Hill fruit punch" a favorite amongst our guests!
Children's Programme: Children of all ages are welcome and will find fun and challenges and pleasant surprises in all the Round Hill has to offer. There is a well organized Children's Programme in the Thanksgiving, Christmas period, Spring Break and Easter holidays, and donkey rides and other activities such as tennis and water sports instruction are available throughout the year. There are various games and puzzles available at the Front Desk. Video tapes for children or cartoons can be shown in the Pineapple Room on request.

Fresh water pool at the edge of the Caribbean Sea for use by all guests; private beach offering a fully equipped watersports center with some complimentary services. PADI diving, deep-sea fishing boats and yachts are available for charter. Round Hill also boasts five all-weather courts (2 lit for evening play) for complimentary tennis. Our resident pro is always delighted to arrange tournaments, Round Robins, etc. A fitness center equipped with treadmills, step master, rowing boat, bicycle, and free weights and personal instructor for exercise classes. Jogging and walking path, nature walk weekly. Golf can be arranged at the championship course just a few minutes away, with complimentary transportation. Duty free shop, gift shop, art gallery and "Pineapple" logo shop on property; twice daily complimentary shuttle for shopping.
One main restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on the seaside terrace, upper terrace or Georgian Room. For those who wish more dining options, we offer a "DINE AROUND" program with four restaurants in Montego Bay - "Marguerites", "Town House", "Bellfield 1794" and "Day-O-Plantation".
All restaurants offer shuttle service and are approved by Round Hill! Our cocktail bar also serves afternoon tea daily, complimentary for all our guests.

Days at Round Hill are casual and informal with the emphasis on enjoying Jamaica and Round Hill and the richness both have to offer. Evenings, though not formal, are decidedly elegant and graceful.
